We are first and second generation artists from Guadalajara with over 50 years of experience creating exquisite, fully hand-made oil paintings.
We specialize in traditional Mexican style art work, custom portraits, and original contemporary art.
Jesús Reynoso, Zacatecas, 1950; is a renowned visual artist based in Guadalajara, México. Predominantly self taught,
Jesús has been drawing and painting since he was a child. His professional career began at the age of 20, as an anatomy artist at the Doctor Ángel Leaño Hospital in Guadalajara. Later he became a graphic designer, and was entrusted with the creation of innumerable logos, before devoting himself completely to pictorial creation.

Jesús' fascination with art is inspired by the vibrant colors and traditions of Méxican culture. His vast experience encompasses different phases as a painter. Beginning with Sacred, Renaissance, Baroque, and Pre-Raphaelite art.

Alejandro Reynoso, 1978, of Guadalajara México is a formally trained artist currently residing in Puerto Vallarta. His desire to paint was greatly influenced as a child by observing his father; Jesús Reynoso create figurative, classical and pre-Raphaelite style works.
​
Alejandro earned his degree in Visual Arts from Universidad de Guadalajara in 2003. His inspiration emerges from the deep mysteries of life, as well as historical and cultural influences. This is personified in the intense emotional characteristics of his multi-cultural subjects. His specialty is realistic and contemporary art.

Alejandro operates and manages Reynoso Galería. He is currently working on new collections that will be available for viewing in the coming months.
Our Techniques and Medium
The preferred medium for all of our paintings is Oil on Canvas. Oil is our favorite due to the rich saturation of colors, a wide variety of tones, and the ability to create different textures. The processes for our creations are completely academic and are fully handmade. We refuse any kind of digital media techniques. Each painting starts from a free hand sketch or drawing.
